A Chance to Help

From a co-worker:

Times are rough for every day Joe, going to work, coming home, trying to get the money to put food on the table and pay their bills. But imagine if you will, finding out you have a mass on your brain, losing the ability to work without getting MASSIVE Headaches and getting sent home, and to top it all off finding out it is inoperable. As a family person this would be hard enough, but what if you were a single mother of a beautiful daughter of 6? This can be devastating and is more than enough to make break anyones spirits.

Lynn made her living as a single mom, and things were great. However, a couple months ago she started feeling sick and went to the Doctors for diagnoses. After examination and attempting to remove the brain mass that was found near her brain, it was deemed inoperable. Now she goes to the hospital for further help, doing what they can, and the hospital bills are building up. The fight between which bill to pay, the ability to buy healthy food dwindling, and the prospect of missing Christmas for her 6 year old daughter is slowly becoming a reality. Now, this is not an official charity, nor is it something very organized. This is just My Wife and Myself looking to help a family out in need during the holiday season. I am reaching out to the Internet, my friends, and my family, and rallying us together as Santa’s Elves, to help a family in need.

  • Canned Foods, Ramen, Mac and Cheese, Any kind of dry foods that can be stored and used over time would be amazing.
  • Caeley loves Crafts, anything she can create with her hands. A pack of crayons, a thing of markers, some construction paper. Anything would help bring a smile to the little girls face.
  • Health insurance sucks, and hospital bills are adding up. A few bucks would help immensely. Don’t have to break the bank, but sacrificing a morning coffee and dropping a couple bucks towards someones happiness would make their whole holiday season. Paypal can be sent to dawgethswg@hotmail.com.

Thank you everyone, for just reading this. You are all amazing, and I wish you the best of Holiday seasons.
